Guiding Question: How is the world (including YOU) acting as CREW?
Learning Target: I can analyze multiple perspectives and clearly identify ways that our citizens are acting as "Crew, not Passengers" during the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
Task: In each class students will be provided with resources to read and examine. Students will then become a primary source as they reflect on their own experience during COVID- 19, and identify the ways that citizens are acting as Crew.
Product Choices:
6th Grade
- Create a time-capsule artifact in the form of a t-shirt that captures some of the events, thoughts, emotions, and experiences that we have had during this unique time period.
7th/8th Grade-
- Sketch Book Documentary: Sketch or illustrate your reflections on the resources you have reviewed and your own personal experiences.
- Photography Documentary: Take photographs of the ways that citizens are exemplifying the saying "Crew, Not passengers".
- Video Documentary: Record yourself discussing the resources you have reviewed or your own personal experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
- Journal Documentary: Write journal entries or poetry that reflects on the resources you have reviewed or your personal experiences.
